Don't know if that's tru don't know if that's going to happen, don't even know how cheesy this film looks like... one thing is that the thought is good and it proves that somewhere somehow a simple idea written in a blank piece of paper can change the world. :)

In an imaginary world

Many times i just wonder what is others people imaginary world look like. Is it that strange abstract and surreal as mine. I remember once i had a discussion about Superpowers. Someone brought to the table the question:

If you could have a superpower, which super power would you prefer?

Obviously my answer was the power to fly.

Flying means:
You can dry your hair quickly
You can air your balls
you can travel for free
rescue people from falling (not sure about that)
make bungee jumping without a rubber holding your body
have the best view
play cloud hide n seek
sing love is in the air and make people actually believe you
produce 0 emissions (farting is excluded)
and many many other thing....

problem was that many people answered that they would like to read other people's minds... and to me that's weird... so this is why sometimes i wonder what's on others people's minds. But it wouldn't be nice if i knew that's like living in your imaginary world.

I know i know i suffer from Peter Pan syndrom.

Emir, Manu &Diego

Emir Kusturica, is one of the most talented directors that this world has the privilege to have. Emir, is premiering tonight his new movie Maradona.

Maradona is a documentary on the life of Argentine footballer Diego Maradona, directed by the award-winning Bosnian filmmaker Emir Kusturica. The documentary will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival 2008, which will run May 14-25.

Emir has stated the following regarding the film:
“It is the first film that will treat all the aspects of the life of Maradona. The film will be very complex to make, because I want to show the true personality of Maradona. Football is a science of great mathematical precision ! The film ends when the former football player is in good health, and has no more addiction to drugs. The film will show "the three Maradonas" I've discovered during the shooting: the football teacher, the politically incorrect citizen against the unilateral politics of the USA and the family man. These three Diegos will be in the end of the film I will shoot in the Aztec Stadium in Mexico, where Diego scored one of his most famous goals, during the World Cup 1986 against the English team.

One Month ago.

One month ago i wrote my last post... it must have been sometime during the day of the 20th of April.. don't remember much about this day, i only remember that i wrote on this blog oh yes you can see it below.

How are you digital audience? how is your digital life going...what about the real life.... 1 minute ago i had no clue what i'm talking about but now i will just talk about the main reason that i don't have an ipod. I know that's totally random, but come on life's random.

To make the loooooong story short i only want to share with you my thinking behind my denial of not getting an ipod. Human relations and isolation is the main reason. Ipod kills the sounds of the city, the birds the cars the sound of the newspaper in the subway, the sound of the rain, even the sound of the car that is about to hit you while you are listening to the ipod. OK i don't have something with apple or ipod or mp3 players, it's just the fact that when i say people that i don't have an ipod their faces look at me like i'm a skyblue watermellon wearing a baseball cap. Well Guess What world, i'm real i'm ok and i don't have an ipod.

It's kinda weird but while some people are looking to get into other people's way some others simply make their own way. New ways are always provocative, and if you want my opinion, provocative is the middle name of Good Ideas.
One of these crazy dudes is Juan Cabral, most of you know already who he is so no need to make fancy introductions. What i like in the work of this guy is that has nothing to do with advertising, it encompasses Art in Advertising with a unique way.

Juno

Well, i just watched Juno. Usually when it comes to movies, my pals making fun of me, they say i'm cheesy since i really like cartoon and teen movies, i would prefer to watch a Funny Hollywood movie with teens doing crazy stuff rather than a super cultural amazing photography European film. Of course i like both styles, but my friends also know that i'm in general a happy person, thus it is important for me to get positiveness in any way i can, so i can try to seed this (LOL)

Well Juno in my opinion is a great movie, it's a must-see teen movie it's one of the movies with young kids who make you wonder how talented some kids could be. Well miss Juno is super talented and a potential super beautiful girl. Not so beautiful as the girl who played at the Disturbia, but she is pretty.. anyway enough with all these stupid words. The movie is nice go watch it.

Well it's time to get back to interesting stuff. It's always nice and beautiful when beautiful people speak about their own creations, it's always nice when people are able to express what they feel when create beauty, it's always nice when people tell their own story, cause as i like to say. The best story that someone can say, is his own.

Well i decided to change the world a bit. It's a hard decision, but nevertheless not impossible. Changing the world is about following your own way, a way you created you discovered, a way so new that even you see it a bit blurry. One of my first things while changing the world is to declare the OFD. Official Fun Day. This day is tomorrow 18th of February...

A great campaign just started.
Adidas Originals and 180amsterdam, created a really nice campaign proving that the best story someone can tell is his own.
the first commercial/short film of the campaign is the one who shall remind to many people or bring knowledge to some others, that Adidas stands for Adi Dassler. An athlete who once made shoes for Atheletes.
As the website suggests, this campaign will be supported with more exciting films :)

I think i've just discovered something really important.. Many people say time is money, time is money, time is money blah blah.. i say bullshit. Time is just something that passes by. Dreams are the new currency ladies and gents, dreams are those things that come together and propel life, make life interesting, make life a place to live. Dreams come not only when we sleep, dreams are there since we were kids, dreams are the ones that make progress, crazy dreams make fun, big dreams create new big stuff.
Big stuff that change things bring revolutions, smiles, new discoveries.. well you get my point.

But there are times when people truly risk something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the new. The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations, the new needs friends.

Still struggling to find when is the best time to enter the new, when the time to risk in here... how fun risk can be? it's really hard sometimes to discover, but what i like to say is Start today what you are planning for tomorrow..
This was just a though.. the blog will be new. I have also a risk in my mind, not sure if i will go for it still trying to see if the timing is good, but even if it's not.. it will still be fun. Welcome new.

2008

this is the first post of the year. 2007 was a really intense year for me it started with a big Question mark, it ends with a big smile... which is good.
lot's of interesting things happened last year... but they are all history, some of the moments are already stored in my memory some other moments.. just proved me that everything happens for a reason.
2008 this the now.. a kind weird year i think it's only 2 years before the end of the 00's it's a year that has the infinity symbol in it (8-90CW) it's a year.. that will prove to everyone else that the best, are yet to come.. for me it will be the year of NO. I'm prepared to start living with 'NO' it doesn't sound easy but sounds better...till then i wish you all a happy lovely new year. I wish you all health, joy, smile, energy, sun, moments, true tears, ask what's next....
