Emir, Manu &Diego

Emir Kusturica, is one of the most talented directors that this world has the privilege to have. Emir, is premiering tonight his new movie Maradona.

Stolen from Wikipedia:

Maradona is a documentary on the life of Argentine footballer Diego Maradona, directed by the award-winning Bosnian filmmaker Emir Kusturica. The documentary will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival 2008, which will run May 14-25.

Emir has stated the following regarding the film:
“It is the first film that will treat all the aspects of the life of Maradona. The film will be very complex to make, because I want to show the true personality of Maradona. Football is a science of great mathematical precision ! The film ends when the former football player is in good health, and has no more addiction to drugs. The film will show "the three Maradonas" I've discovered during the shooting: the football teacher, the politically incorrect citizen against the unilateral politics of the USA and the family man. These three Diegos will be in the end of the film I will shoot in the Aztec Stadium in Mexico, where Diego scored one of his most famous goals, during the World Cup 1986 against the English team.

i just can't wait.

Emir, Manu & Diego are all three legends for me and i'm pretty sure that the result will be my favorite word

magic.

The Factory Girl

That's a really interesting movie, POP art is becoming a trend, Siena Miller is a gorgeous trend and Andy Warhol is always a trend.
Here is the Synopsis: as can be found at the official web site.

The Producers of the film came up with a rather intriguing contest. They give the opportunity to their visitors (UGC) to craft their own movie posters. All the entries will compete for a rather good prize. All you need is Photo-manipulation software and your imagination. Sounds great, I think I’ll challenge my skills for this contest. Good Luck to everyone.

Synopsis

FACTORY GIRL imaginatively unfolds the comet-like rise and fall of 60s “It Girl” Edie Sedgwick, the blazing superstar who came to define both the glamour and the tragedy of our celebrity-obsessed culture. Sedgwick appeared to be the quintessential American princess, with her blue blood, her trust fund and her Harvard education, not to mention her ethereal beauty and vivacious charisma. But she was also a lost and fragile little girl; and when she met up with counter-culture anti-hero Andy Warhol, everything changed. Suddenly, Edie found herself at the center of a Pop Art universe bursting with sex, drugs, style and rock ‘n’ roll -- and a mad rush for fame and fabulousness that was destined to spin out of control.

Arriving into the chaos of mid-60s New York, Edie (Sienna Miller) is taken under the wing of the famously deadpan artist Andy Warhol (Guy Pearce) who sees in her untamed vulnerability the makings of an irresistible muse. Warhol invites Edie into the wild world of The Factory, a former downtown hat factory he has transformed into a bohemian paradise. Here, a rag-tag mix of musicians, poets, artists, actors and misfits gather to create avant-garde movies during the day and throw glam parties all night long. Edie quickly ascends to become the star of Warhol’s movies, an idol at The Factory and a media darling. She is on top of the world when she falls in love with a larger-than-life rock star (Hayden Christensen). But when Edie becomes caught between Warhol’s world of sexy surfaces and her new love, she winds up rejected by both – and once again, set adrift in the modern world.
