The Christmas issue of TIME magazine was something more than another person of the year cover. This year’s person of the year is YOU.
2006, celebrated creativity in the best possible way, showing that it can flourish from anywhere. Many companies seek out creativity wherever it may be, Blogs, Vlogs, YOUTUBE, flickr.... are here to confirm that YOU are the future of communication. One of the most respectable figures of modern Advertising CEO of Saatchi Saatchi Worldwide Kevin Roberts has written two fabulous books about Lovemarks or the love that people have for their favorite brands. Time magazine (picture) has appointed face of the year YOU! Master Card has created a web creative playground based on the Priceless campaign; TBWA has created an experiment under the name “The Big What adventure” in which YOU can submit ideas for live briefs. Moreover from what I noticed so far some of the things produced by simple users, even if they are Web sites, videos or whatever, are pieces of Art the art of everyday life and stand out as professional works.
